Definition: A disordered metal with five or more elements and equiatomic composition. It is stabilized by entropy, at least at higher temperatures.

Examples: CrMnFeCoNi

Comments

A subset of MPEAs where elements are in near-equiatomic ratios, and high configurational entropy stabilizes single-phase solid solutions.
