Definition: Quasi-Molecular Crystal (QMC) – A crystal structure where molecules are arranged in a disordered, yet correlated, manner, exhibiting properties intermediate between crystalline and amorphous solids.

Examples: Silicon dioxide (SiO₂) forms a QMC, exhibiting some crystalline order but also retaining a degree of disorder due to vibrational motion.
